In the fourth classes on 14th and 15th January, 2019, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department held the standard character acceptance activities for students from Grade 7 and Grade 8. After a semester of hard training, students have been able to write standard characters. Some others can even write a higher level of Chinese characters.
For Chinese people, it is one of the basic qualities to write Chinese characters well, because each Chinese character carries out the long and splendid civilization of the Chinese nation. When writing Chinese characters, we are inheriting the Chinese civilization and promoting people’s understanding of the Chinese culture, thus enhancing people’s love for the motherland. Our school attaches great significance to the cultivation and training of students’ standard character writing. We check and accept their standard characer writing every semester and bring ‘Writing Standard Characters’ into our school’s routine education and teaching work, which has achieved good results.
